In the year 2008 the Nationamuseum Stockholm held an exhibition devoted to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's work. The museum invited first year MFA students in Konstfack University College Stockholm to create a parallel exhibition which would be inspired by Lautrec's works. The exhibition was named 'To Use Lautrec'. My installation was created from black velvet and marzipan, both materials shaped as braids. My thoughts were on prostitution which was very visible in Lautrec's works.
