OSCILLATE

A private exhibition held in the renowned and historical cafe Mokka in Reykjavik, Iceland. From its beginning in 1956 exhibitions have been carrying out where many of Iceland's most famous artists have had their exhibitions. I was honoured to be chosen to exhibit my work.

The motive was to fill the space with colors. The works are made with colorful nylon threads and broderi yarn which are strung repeatedly over a color folie. The works are material- and color studies where visual effects are the focal point.
The titel “Oscillate“ refers to the inner pulse of the works created within the spectator‘s visual experience. The flickering of the eye between color, texture and material. The flickering between an overall experience and analysis of every detail- poecy and literal understanding.
